The Coronado Heights library had a special visitor in January. Our librarian, Ms. Clay, invited her mom, Sandra Ligon, to teach some of our students how to protect our books with dust covers. Ms. Ligon was also a Putnam City school librarian! She worked at Central Intermediate (now known as Arbor Grove) and retired from Putnam City High School. Our students loved learning a new skill. Mary, one of our 3rd grade students, said, "I like doing work and it makes me feel good to help people. It was hard at first, but then it got easy!". Ms. Ligon also has a son that teaches and coaches tennis at Putnam City High School. They are Putnam City Proud!
